EU Youth Dialogue

The EU Youth Dialogue is the most important and elaborated youth participation mechanism in policy-making within the European Union.

It’s all about bridging the gap between young people and policy-makers and it offers young people a unique opportunity to make political decision-makers aware of what truly matters to them.

Every EU Youth Dialogue takes place under a trio presidency, with three countries chairing the Council of the European Union over an 18-month cycle. These countries take it in turns to organise an EU Youth Conference where young people meet and debate on chosen topics.

The conference in Belgium takes place during the 10th cycle of the European Youth Dialogue and will be the second conference under the trio presidency of Spain-Belgium-Hungary.
