European Conference on Local Youth Work and Democracy
The European Conference on Local Youth Work and Democracy will bring together more than 300 participants. Building on the synergies deriving from the Strategic National Agencies Cooperation projects “Europe Goes Local” and “Democracy Reloading”, this event will focus on enhancing the quality of youth work and the participation of young people at the local and municipal levels.
EU Youth Conference
The EU Youth Conference in Ghent is an important event within the EU Youth Dialogue led by the trio presidency of Spain, Belgium, and Hungary. With a focus on European Youth Goal 3, Inclusive Societies, this gathering of 300 participants will address issues of poverty, discrimination and social inclusion, helping to create effective policies for a better and more prosperous Europe.
Meeting of Directors-General for Youth
This gathering convenes the Directors-General for Youth, the highest officials of the EU member-states responsible for youth policy, in Brussels. They meet twice per year. During this meeting, they will discuss the current state of affairs and their contribution to the midterm evaluation of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027 and share initial reflections of interim evaluations of Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps.
Business Meeting of National Agencies in the field of youth
This meeting gathers the directors of the National Agencies in the field of Youth, the implementing bodies for the Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps programmes. They will discuss the evaluations of the programmes and formulate recommendations to feed into the overall evaluation and the further development of the programmes till 2027.
